Since we talked about tables last week, this week we will focus on the seating. Chairs are a big part of your wedding and reception. When it comes to chairs it's the same as tables. The only difference is that you need a chair for every bottom there. You may think a chair is a chair which it is but there are several different types of chairs and they all serve a different purpose. There are the Chiavari chairs which are the "favorite wedding" chair. They have a distinct look, and can be placed with nothing on them or you can dress them up. They are beautiful either way. When you "dress up" a chair that just means adding a cover or a sash. Once again the Chiavari chairs don't require any dressing up unless you just really want it. You also have your simple, basic, plastic fold out chairs. Majority of people will want to dress these chairs up. There are also wooden chairs. Some people refer to as natural. The style of your wedding will depend if you want to dress these chairs up or not. Once you pick out what type of chair you want, it all comes down to the amount of chairs you need. Remember you need one for each guest as well as you, your mate, and the wedding party. The average number of wedding attendees is 150. Do you really want to go out and purchase 150 chairs? I think the answer is NO! I wouldn't want to. So that is why you rent your chairs. It will save you a lot of money, as well as space.
